It was hardly a wager when she knew for a fact the 'arrangement'- both on the winning and losing ends of the spectrum- was something they would've gladly done willingly- hell, they'd done it to each other before, just without the formal terms; while she couldn't necessarily see that in Erik's face, due to how expertly he could temper his own reactions, but inside the dark glimmer in his gaze she recognized and adored, she knew he was thinking the same thing simply from how intimate they'd been. No way would she say that, though. That would ruin the game.
And they did love their games, didn't they.
"Done-" she confirmed with a leaning smile that flashed just a hint of teeth between currently painted lips; her fingers twitched near her palms and she fought the urge to tip her head and lean to his touch. Instead, the tip of her tongue briefly explored the back of her teeth in her now-closelipped smile. Their gazes rarely disconnected through the mirror, but that single moment felt more significant. Between her connected hands, the tip of one finger discreetly pushed at the silver ring.
