“It’s a good thing that I have time.” They all had time since they were all trapped in a kidnapping, world traveling hotel. So whatever her long story was, he had all the time in the world to hear it.
“Tell me something that I didn’t know,” he said as he watched her sit across from him. He had already figured that part out thanks to Bonnie and her conversation with Hansel. The way Gretel looked at him only made him smirk. He knew that look. He knew it well. She was trying to figure him out by just looking at him. Well, it wasn’t going to work. “Whatever you’re thinking, say it. Or whatever question you have, you might as well ask it.” He’d answer it. He had nothing to hide, well, almost nothing. “So you two are the peace keepers of the hotel. How has that worked out for you?” There weren’t many people in the hotel right now, but if more were coming, there was no way those two would be able to keep the peace for long. People were going to clash. It was only a matter of time.
“Alright.” He believed her. She seemed like somebody who didn’t mess around and if she said she would answer him truthfully, then he believed it. “When and where are you from?”
