Not long after being on her feet, a gnawing hunger made itself known in the pit of her stomach- once the wave of lightheadedness passed. She really should've eaten something before falling into bed. Gretel cleared her throat lightly, as if shaking sleep from her voice itself.
"You could say that." She palmed her forehead briefly, taking a breath before gesturing toward the table and chairs nearby. "Have a seat... give me two seconds..."
Before he could answer, Gretel was already making her way to the open bathroom. A few splashes of cold water on her face would do for now.
