“Could you move a little faster,” he called back as he kept his eyes on the angel. A small part of him wanted the thing to come just so he could see what exactly would happen. Maybe he’ll be stupid enough to try that later. For now, all he wanted was for Gretel to hurry up and open the damn door.
The second the door was opened, he wasted no time in entering. “And here I thought you were trying to avoid me,” he sarcastically said.
Enzo watched Gretel for a moment or two. “Rough night?” The way she looked and the way she walked kind of gave it away. And, of course, he could smell blood.
