"Yes ma'am," he grinned up at her while she seemed a bit on her toes, and for a moment he'd forgotten about the statues and had to give a quick glance around. "I have to keep my eye out for Persephone, pretty sure she has it in for me." He had figured out a name for her of course, and if any of the others that held specific features he would name them too but hopefully that wouldn't happen. "I'm pretty sure we could exchange a few good stories over some more drinks at some point, really."
"Wh--" His brow kinked up as he watched her take the glass from him and down it before unsheathing a blade that he swore just came the hell out of no where. "Woah, you mean business. Uhh..." He watched her for a minute before the scent caught him more than off guard. Having been so long since he'd fed those dark eyes would black out completely and he nearly groaned at the metallic taste on his tongue. He could feel the length of his incisors growing until the tips hit against his bottom lip and jarred him out of his slight trance.
"Sorry, I'm sorry. I don't - you don't need to see that." His hand went up over his mouth to cover, but there wasn't all that much he could do about his eyes until he had himself under more control. "You sure now is the best time to really test this if factor?" He inhaled deeply feeling his body tense up with anticipation but the smell of her blood filled his nostrils like a high. He looked from the cup to her and back to the cup. "Just...don't let that get to be too much for you. Don't make yourself weak, okay?" He murmured with a horrible sort of lisp almost through his covered mouth.
