He enjoyed his conversations with Dolores. She seemed to be a very honest sort and he didn't experience any feelings of deception around her with regards to the Force. Of course, it was always possible that he was wrong. It wouldn't have been the first time. And his connection to the Force wasn't as strong here as it had been before -- in his world. But she had a very trusting nature and Obi-Wan found that extremely refreshing.
And her interest in his world and in advice reminded him of his days at the Jedi Academy; teaching younglings, training with Anakin, debating philosophy with the other Jedi Masters. It was like a little piece of his world had come with him.
"There's nothing wrong with familiar."
In fact, if he saw a book from his own past, he would probably take it as well. Another thing to hold on to and keep him grounded.
