Despite the topic of conversation, Dolores found herself smiling back at Obi-Wan. She still didn't always understand the finer details of some of the things he said, things having to do with his world, but his advice was always sound, and she could tell he spoke from experience.
"Thank you."
She'd been able to discover herself in the first place, and she believed she would figure out who she was in time, but for now, she felt more like she was in limbo. Being at the hotel, somewhere that might actually be limbo, both helped, and didn't help at all.
Rather than try to find another book on the shelf, Dolores looked at the two in her hands.
"I think I might just stick with somethin' familiar for now," she said, and then looked at Obi-Wan again. "Everythin' here's been so new and strange... Somethin' familiar might be nice."
Plus, something familiar might bring out more memories. As painful as some were, she wanted all of the memories she could find within herself, now that she knew they were there.
