"The Jedi Temple library on Coruscant was the largest and most established collection of holobooks, archives, and datasticks in the galaxy before the Empire took over. I believe it is still standing to this day, but I shudder to think what might have become of all that knowledge."
Obi-Wan reached onto the shelf and pulled out one of the leather-bound novels, carefully opening it up to the first page to admire the print and paper.
"The library had been there for thousands of years, maintained by some of the foremost Jedi scholars. I think you would have really liked it. So much information. So much creativity, history, wisdom."
He had become sentimental since his exile. That was true. But it had been an awe inspiring vision of light in the universe. And it saddened him to think that those days were gone, replaced by suppression and the Dark Side.
"Well, they say never to judge a book by its cover," he said, placing the book in his hand back on the shelf. "Maybe you could ask for recommendations? Or pick something with a title that interests you."
