“Of course it isn’t.” Nothing in life ever was. And he’d seen enough of the black and white while living in Mystic Falls. Nothing was ever as easy as it may seem and he never pretended to think that way.
“I see.” Basically all he got from it was that Dean and Sam were hunters like Alaric. Something bad happens and they get tossed into the life of the supernatural world. That’s all he really wanted to know.
“Okay, you bore me now.” He once again looked Sam right in the eye and started to compel him. “You will remember none of this. We never crossed paths. We never met one another. The cut on your wrist, you did that. Now you feel stupid and don’t want anyone to see it, so you’re going to keep it hidden until its healed. Now go to bed. When you wake up the last thing you’ll remember is your visit to Christmas town.” He stepped away from Sam once he was pretty sure he covered his tracks.
Once he was satisfied, he left Sam’s room and headed back to Bonnie’s. She had to be back by now.
