Who: Diana & Arthur What: Swimming When: Thursday, New Plot Where: The Pool Rating: TBD Status: Closed/Ongoing
This week was just like the last week, relaxing and uneventful. She basked in the serenity. The large area of the pool was quiet and Diana relished in the fact that she was alone with her thoughts. The crystal blue of the water made her a touch homesick. She peered into the water at her reflection and she saw herself. And her mother was there. The look on the face of the Queen warmed her. Diana smiled. Unknowing, Diana reached into the water and her fingers grazed the water, causing ripples.
The images were distorted.
Diana frowned. She kicked her legs gently in the water, splashing lightly. Sighing hard, Diana gripped at the lip of the pool where she sat. Her eyes closed and she tried to remember home. She could feel the warmth of the sand of the beach on her feet, the warmth of the sun. Her mother's laugh.
She ached for touch, for a smile or a laugh that was familiar.
Her eyes opened and she sat back, shoulders slumped.
