After they'd shook, Bruce dropped Steve's hand easily.
As Steve continued to speak on about the situation, Bruce began to be overtaken by a grim feeling and he wasn't particularly fond about that. It meant trouble. If Natasha was here, they had a chance. "How many people are here?" He inquired. He had to know how many lives could possibly be jeopardized. A big place like this suggested that there were many more than just the handful of Avengers and that guy Bucky who Steve mentioned.
His mind was calculating, processing and trying to make sense of what came next. The confession of Steve not having seen him since New York and that had been years ago. Ultron hadn't been invented yet, at least not to the capacity that they'd been able to get him to, and there were no Accords.
"New York was a while ago," Bruce replied. "The last time I saw you in person we were fighting Ultron," Bruce explained, choosing his words carefully. "After that, just mentions of your name on the television in reference to the Accords."
