Liam allowed the silence to continue as he drove. The driving calmed him down, gave him something to focus on besides the man next to him. It wasn't something he'd done before, and his own maker had done a fairly shoddy job of it. He was determined to do it better, in his own way.
However, once Ainsley broke the silence, Liam could only grin. He even laughed a bit, speeding up despite himself on the near-empty road. "It's a myth," he replied, seeing Ainsley's hand out the window out of the corner of his eye. "There are a lot of things humans think they know about vampires. Most is pure shite."
