Amy didn't speak much directly to Liam's little pet ever since they'd all gotten together. There were often victims around or Liam was there, and she had done little more than flash little smirks and knowing grins in the baby vampire's direction. Liam regaled the two of them with lively stories of their escapades when it was just the three of them, telling tales of blood and good times. Mostly of their tirades around countries killing, of the stunt up in Canada, the fanciful parties they'd been invited to and the ones they'd crashed.
Overall, Amy realized, Liam was very general. He told nothing of himself, nothing of her particular story. She didn't mind, but she found the way he picked and chose his words around his pet very interesting. He was never so careful around her, and had never been so.
And now there was tonight. Liam had claimed he had some business to attend to and had finally left the two of them alone. Perhaps it was just that Liam trusted her now, and that was always a mistake.
Perched delicately on the arm of a chair in their current residence, she waited for Ainsley to join her in the room before she leaned forward towards him, quietly studying the younger vampire's features.
