Ainsley laughed a little too, indulging Mason in the mockery of himself. He shook his head a bit, acknowledging the ridiculousness of it. "It's cheap," he said, still smiling. "And, you know. I don't exactly need to eat, so I don't stock up on a lot. So. This week, it's bacon. Last week was beef."
He opened a cupboard and retrieved a frying pan, putting it on the stove. "And butter," he added, holding the stick up after getting it and the bacon from the fridge. "But I don't think you want to just eat that."
He used it instead to grease the pan up, then turned the fire on. "So, you want some, or what?"
