My first reaction was to be delighted that there was something so (comparatively ;) ) short in the list :D. So of course, I read it straight away.

This felt very canon. Yeah, you tied it in overtly with the memories (excellent, classic HD moments), but the difference between the two relationships (H/G and H/D) felt very true to the development in the books. Heh. Right down to Ginny being the sweetly idealised one ;).

Yum for the violence, too. Nothing felt out of place here, too - nothing wasted. I'll admit that the length and the tastiness of this give me suspicions about the author, but I've always been crap at guessing :D.

If I could vote, you'd get full marks. I think this was really well done - an exploration of relationships over plot, and I'm an absolute sucker for the one-last-night scenario :).

Personally, I'm not really a fan of stories where Harry and Draco are already a couple ... I'll never really buy it unless I see how they get together, in other words. I didn't find this all that true to their canon counterparts - I suppose I could extrapolate and see how this situation could have arisen, but I wasn't really convinced by the characterization. Still, this story depicted an interesting dynamic between them, even thought it was (deliberately) very disturbing. I liked how you worked in some key canon moments.

I pretty much echo what [info]ships_harry had to say.

I like dark Harry even though technically Harry isn't "dark" in this fic but more an aspect of his sub-conscience. I like that Draco is amused so highly at all of this, making Harry very much seem foolish by being so upset at it all. Nice job author!

Wonderful insights into the characters, especially Harry. I loved the moment where Draco shows Harry his family fantasy and makes it clear he'd never take it from him. And the sex was yummy. :-)
