Very sweet. I especially liked how the solution to the problem required both Muggle and magical knowledge. And Harry and Draco's methods of staying awake were a wonderful tease.

But I still want to know -- who kissed Andromeda?

hehehe, your question caught my eye. I think, once the book was destroyed, that a kiss of love would wake the afflicted, so I saw Lucius kissing Narcissa awake, and Cissy kissing her sister - sisterly love and all that. :D

Hmmm ... maybe, but Harry still had to use, um, extreme methods to wake Draco, even after the book was destroyed. But maybe the spell will weaken as the others wake up. Who knows what Bellatrix would have thought of!

Andromeda never succumbed to the charmed sleep. She was still fighting it off at the time the curse was broken, so no one needed to wake her up specially.

Thank you! I'm glad you had fun reading it. And yeah, as noted below, Andromeda didn't need a kiss, since she didn't succumb to the charmed sleep.

This was a fairy tale itself - it had that light, lilting quality. There was something hazy and surreal in their interactions once Harry started waking Draco - deliciously rolling along.

Draco as an anxiety ridden agoraphobic was rather apt and believable, and Harry was nicely depicted. I really liked the gentle tone of their entire journey, how there was no great drama once they realised they were working for the same thing.

And a lovely use of the fairy tale and it's cure to underpin a new and fascinating curse!

Well done!

I'm so glad you thought so! I really had fun writing it and swapping their points of view, trying to make it nuanced but not so subtle as to be boring. :-)

Very nice retelling of the fairy tale with your weaving in of magic and potions and Muggle knowledge.

This was great! Draco's withdrawal was very believable, and the fairytale elements lovely. Plus, the wake up methods, yum :).
