Noah was amused by her toast and joined her with one of his own, lifting his beer bottle to his lips. She tossed back the tequila like a pro, and Noah watched with clear appreciation. Her skin was flushed from drink and it was an attractive sight. It was improved greatly by her removal of her jacket and undoing of a button on the shirt. Noah's eyes flitted from the glimpse of skin now available, to her eyes. His smile might become a permanent feature at this rate.
Before he could answer her, his companions from the bar came up to get their drinks, chiding him for dumping them for a girl. It was all playful and respectful of her, so he took the ribbing with a laugh. It was true. She was the prettiest person in here and he did not feel bad in the least about his new choice in companion. She was also interesting. She seemed to have a bit of a hard edge that he found intriguing.
"I just landed a commercial. It's my first big project."
