A Quiet Evening In WHO Liam Hunter & RJ Sullivan WHAT Just two wolves enjoying the cooler days while reflecting on the past year. WHERE Sullivan/Hunter Residence WHEN Monday, October 10, 2016 ~6:32PM WARNINGS None so far.
Since obtaining a permanent residence two years ago, Liam sometimes found the drive to and from work tedious, long, and terribly inconvenient. Usually those were days where he was particularly anxious to get home and see RJ, if he had made plans with Sam, or, more recently, with Galen or Sebastian. Discovering he had half-siblings through his mother was—at first—a little disconcerting. His mortal mind had difficulty coming to grips with the fact that Rowan had had other liaisons enough to establish more familial connections; Because of this, Liam at first resented his half-brothers somewhat as he found out they had gotten more time with Rowan than he did. Eventually, however, he moved past the feeling; Between the three of them, it was none of their fault that Rowan had made her choices. Once he had accepted that, getting to know Galen and Sebastian had become easier and they enjoyed a bi-weekly game of billiards at the pub with Sam. That evening, however, he had nothing planned with his blood relations, so the teacher decided to stop by the Hoof & Feather for enough chicken for two werewolves before making a quick stop at the supermarket for the rest of his ingredients for the alfredo he planned to make.
Upon arriving home, Liam pulled out his Surface Pro and tapped the Pandora icon. Soon, the melodic and calm sounds of the Ambient Radio station filtered through the rooms of RJ's home as the teacher set a pot of water to boil and got to dicing up chicken to cook on the stovetop. As he cooked the chicken, Liam changed the Pandora station to something more upbeat, humming along as he started melting butter for the alfredo sauce and sorted out the various cheeses he'd need, heavy cream, garlic and Italian seasoningsā¦ Once the butter was melted it was a matter of adding in the rest and set the burner to the lowest possible setting while the pasta and chicken continued to cook. In the meantime, Liam pulled back his curls into a small bun at the crown of his head and started sorting through the work he'd brought home with him before beginning. Occasionally, he'd break long enough to check on the pasta, chicken, and sauce.
Satisfied once everything was cooked appropriately, Liam tossed it all together and pulled out parmesan cheese to grate when he heard the familiar rumble of the engine to RJ's truck long before the garage even made a sound of opening it's door. In that time, the teacher side-stepped to the refrigerator to pull out the mechanic's favorite beer and a glass of wine for himself. He was just taking a sip when he heard the backdoor open and he turned to face RJ with a smile on his face.
"Hello, love." Liam paused long enough to pick up the beer and hand it to his boyfriend, "How was your day?"
