"That's good to know." Scout smiled. It was a bit odd to see someone hanging out in a graveyard. Perhaps someone the girl knew had passed. Hell, they probably had if she'd been in town long enough. There was something different about her, but not anything Scout could identify. If there was one thing she'd learned, things weren't always as they seemed.
At River's reply, Scout's brow quirked. "Thanks, I think. You remind me a little of my sister. She died when I was in high school." No need to go into detail about how she died. Nobody wants to hear that anyway.
