A flush of pleasure suffused his cheeks at the high praise that came from the Spring princess and Morgan ducked his head slightly in a bashful manner. When he met her gaze again, it was with a brighter smile.
"I'm glad..." His smile faded, however, at the reason he broached the subject in the first place, "It's the only way I can think of to save Aurora from your brother. She cannot be bound to his side, if she has vowed to be by the side of another." His much larger hand came to rest atop Aislings.
"You have my word, Princess. One day, something will be done about Cavan. Perhaps... That is, if you think it might help toward that end, you could speak to Flynnwood?" Had it been almost anyone else he was speaking to, Morgan would never have even brought the subject of deposing Cavan up if he didn't have the utmost confidence that it wouldn't get back to the very individual they were speaking of. But, if ever his life was in Aislings hands, he would entrust it completely to her.
