Who: Buffy and Ruby What: Finding her after a full moon. Where: Woods. When: Morning/Early Rating: Lowish Status: Closed/Incomplete
After Dean and Buffy's latest trip into the woods had yielded nothing, the slayer had taken to waking up early and going on a gut feeling. A feeling that the supposed howling was not just a normal wolf or even a normal canine. Rather, based on previous experience with a certain guitarist and former friend, Oz, she felt it could very well be a werewolf. Now, the blond was not sure and she had no proof. It could very well be a pack of dogs or just a dog for all she knew, but somehow, her gut told her different and years of slayer experience had taught her, engrained in her head, to always go with her gut.
Pulling on some clothes and tying her hair up in a messy bun, Buffy slipped on her shoes and headed down the stairs. Part of her had been tempted to wake Dean, but it really was like trying to wake an elephant and nothing worked. Instead, she slipped a knife into her back pocket and closed the door behind her. In a few steps, she was in the woods and jogging along lightly. If it was a werewolf, there would be a naked someone in these woods and Buffy was rather determined to find him or her.
The sound of shifting drew Buffy's attention to a thicket of bushes and the blond carefully picked her way over. Quietly, she peered over the foliage and her green eyes widened at the sight. A dark haired woman was sprawled in the grass, naked and pale in the faint morning light. Swallowing, Buffy took a deep breath and slowly stepped into the section of bushes. Gently she tugged off her jacket and bent down beside the sleeping figure. A had reached out to gently shake her from her slumber.
