Sunday will start off quietly enough in the manor, but that quiet will not last. At noon, an announcement will be heard throughout the house, the speaker's voice gravely but clear.
"Three of your own have been taken from you. If you do not find them, they will end up like the corpses one of you was kind enough to decorate the courtyard with. As a measure of kindness, a clue can be found in the dining hall. Find the three, or you may find yourself in their place next."
Anyone who walks in the dining hall will find that it has been redecorated to resemble a funeral home. Rather than a casket at one end of the room, there will be three photographs on display with a collection of flower arrangements set on the floor in front of the displays. The images displayed are of: Sam Winchester, Amy Farrah Fowler, and Winifred Burkle. To the right of the images and flowers is a simple table. On the table is a digital clock counting down 72 hours (having started counting down at noon when the message finished), a compass, two machetes, and two silver stakes.
There is also a note on the table that reads simply: "The woods are nice this time of year."
Meanwhile, when Sam Winchester, Amy Farrah Fowler, and Winifred Burkle gain consciousness they will find themselves in a cage twice the size of a standard jail cell. The cage bars are close enough together that they cannot be slipped between. They will have nothing but the clothes on their backs (their mobile devices are in their respective rooms at the manor). In the middle of the cage they will find one blanket, five bottles of water, and a box of stale saltine crackers.
The cage is in a small clearing deep within the woods, where the trees and undergrowth are almost too thick to pass in most areas. Guarding the cage are three giant black wolves, one of which has the key to the jail cell in a clear locket attached to a heavy collar around its neck. The wolves will attack anyone who enters the clearing.
