Bo always seemed to be getting in trouble. Even before Chloe. He’d gone into wrong rooms, walked in on woman changing, grabbed things he shouldn’t, stolen when he didn’t even realize what stealing was. The list of things Bo had done wrong in the human world was rather extensive. Which was why Bo wasn’t really affected by scolding anymore. He noticed…and sometimes looked embarrassed, but most of the time just kept on going unphased. It was rather frustrating to servant girls that had to deal with him. Most of the time he was pretty sure Chloe thought it was funny. Unless he was doing something wrong that she wanted him do to. But he tried real hard to do things right when it came to her.
Which was why he hadn’t thrown Cat out yet.
The change of the woman’s demeanor wasn’t noticed by Bo. Pleaded or demanded he reacted about the same. Doing what was asked in a half way distracted sort of speed. Lazily moving his arms or shifting or pulling clothes on. It wasn’t his fault there were so many shiny things to distract him with. And pretty girls. That always distracted Bo a lot. But Chloe was the prettiest of the bunch…which was why he was looking at her the most.
That is until he had to try to walk. Then he looked down at his feet like was going to magically make them easier to walk in. But looking at them didn’t. He still flopped a bit, making a face at the offending shoes. He wanted to just kick them off but he was supposed to wear them. The girls said so. And Chloe wanted him to.
He didn’t understand shoes.
“Shoes are strange…” Bo remarked, wiggling his toes a bit which wasn’t easy to do considering they were so trapped right now. “I can take them off soon?” he seemed excited by the prospect. But he didn’t want to seem too excited! Even if he didn’t like them he was wearing them for some reason that Chloe wanted. “But I’m glad they look good?” he wasn’t really sure if he was but Chloe seemed to like that it looked nice. That was more important to Bo then the too tight shoes. Made him wonder if they were too small but the lady said they weren’t.
Chloe was always the reason that he did anything he didn’t like with a smile at all to his face. If it made her happy then he could be happy about that. He liked doing things for her.
It made him feel good.
And he did it all for that one compliment. That good boy. Bo smiled, nuzzling her back but making sure to not mess up her hair or anything else when he did it. He knew better. He was always careful with her. Or…well tried to be. Sometimes he could be a little klutzy. And forgetful. But he never forgot play! “Okay!” eager little boy that he was, he quickly followed her where she led him.
The modeling thing wasn’t something Bo was familiar with. But when the girls started to drape over him and move about Bo just followed suit. When they stopped, he stopped. It was sort of like a game of simon says…except without too many words.
