“That itch to expand and change things about seems to have spread through the entire city from what I’ve seen.” Dimitri agreed with a simple nod of his head “It’s of little surprise though; this city has room for a lot of growth…if it’s done right.” He’d seen far too many human cities crumble because in that rush for more they did not do things correctly. Even Seattle had its share of such moments…building atop the old city to make the new. Of course that fact worked in the supernaturals favor for now. “So long as they continue to go up and out rather then…down there shouldn’t be any trouble with such expansion.”
Dimitri knew, however, that such times of that world down below would eventually come to an end. Humans, though often oblivious, did not always stay as such forever. One pushy sort could plant the seed and though it may be years down the line before it really took root…it always eventually did. It was a day that he was not eager to come. Though, like many, there were times when that hiding in the open grew tiresome, he did not know if he truly believed that living together was the best of choices. Humans and their ways…it did not often mesh well with their kind. The clash could be…disastrous.
“I suppose in a way we do. But perhaps my lack of thought upon them only proves how boring my own are hmm?” he questioned with an arch of the brow and a subtle smirk upon his lips. Dimitri would not claim to hold any deep dark secretes from his sisters. He attempted to live his life open when it came to them. The only truly unspoken words were ones upon their sire and that was less of a secret and more simply touchy ground. Lies and secrets, when you lived this long, seemed pointless things. And tiffs over small matters were even more so. That was why, long ago, the family had ceased to bother with it. They lived their lives, sometimes doing things the others did not like, sometimes not. But few put up much fuss. Not unless they thought the family was at risk. Otherwise it was simply the others life to do with what they wished.
“I’m sure it’s been rather apparent that a “social life” hasn’t been my top most priority since arriving in this city.” He shrugged vaguely, that fact not truly bothering him any. But it wasn’t long before they were to their destination, Dimitri allowing another to park the car. He much preferred to do things himself but when it came to Seattle parking was never a joy and as he much rather spend his time upstairs with his sister then in the car, he let it go.
Out of the car he held the door open for his sister, starting their trek up the elevators to soon bring them to the top. Where of course they were greeted with smiles and a flurry of hellos, welcomes, and would you like to be shown around? Just as Dimitri thought they would. He looked at Justine, a smirk of amusement touching his features before he agreed to the tour. Yes of course they’d go through the motions of making an appearance first.
