"I believe it is, yes," Justine nodded with a warm smile. Tonight would be an evening spend in the company of her brother, enjoyed for the beauty of their surroundings and the far more light-hearted conversations they would surely have. After all, neither was truly the type that wished to lay their emotions out within plain view. Surely there were other things of interest that they could discuss.
"There has been a lot of activity in the city as of late," she agreed. Several of the establishments around Chroma alone had been undergoing renovations in the past few months, probably trying to make the most of whatever time they might have before summer brought with it the tourist crowds. "There was something similar to a press release I noticed about a week ago detailing some of the more upscale improvements they've made. Some of them are quite impressive, I'm sure they'll want to guarantee that we notice them." Very rarely was such a large amount of money spent without pointing out just where it had gone to your more illustrious patrons.
Perhaps normal had been a poor choice for words, though things had been about as normal as they could be at the Towers. The cynical side of Justine couldn't help but feel as though things might be building towards a breaking point. Other than a bit of the tumultuousness of her own life, very little seemed to be 'stirring the waters' - surely that would only hold out for so long. She had to wonder what it would be that would break the streak...
"I may know a bit, but we all have secrets, Dimitri. I suppose it's only fair I let you keep yours that way," she teased him with a playful smile. She had no intention of spilling all of the details of her life as of late and she truly hadn't thought he'd do the same. It was easy to monitor what each of them was up to, given their close living quarters, and they all seemed to understand not to push for much more than that. Justine, like him, was too easily drawn in by work, very little time was spent on social calls around the city. Truly, though, she didn't mind - it was a lifestyle she'd gotten used to.
