That thought would have disturbed him above and beyond anything. And that was saying something. There was nothing gay about Alex. Not at all. And though he had no issue with gay men, he hoped there was nothing gay about Nox. He didn't think there was anything at all wrong with two men being friends. He had been close to his friends back home too. Granted, not that much time had passed since they met, but some people just clicked, and considering all that had happened in that short time, it made sense.
"Me too." He said. "I called in." He was far too upset to go into work tonight. Probably would have been better for him to be there than to be at this apartment with this girl while completely blitzed, but he was never known for doing what was best for him. "Couch. Floor. Whatever." He could sleep in the chair for all he cared. All he knew was that he wasn't going back to the apartment. He wasn't going to go be in the same place with her. He was far too pissed off at her for that right now.
"Yeah. She's too busy.. fucking some dead guy." He said, and then he frowned a little at the last remark before he laughed. "Vampires can't have babies!" He didn't know much about supernaturals, but he did know that much at least.
"So you got wings too?" She probably did, just like Nox did. "I don't wanna see em." Not that she offered to show them to him, but just to clarify. "Did he tell you that we're gonna build a car?" Man, it was hot. And he was thirsty. He needed some water. He hooked his hands beneath the hem of his shirt and pulled it off and up over his head. "Man, it's fuckin hot in here."
