Alex looked just as confused as she did when the door was opened and there stood a blond girl instead of the blond man he had been expecting. "Hesper?" She was the only person that he could think of that would be here in the middle of the night when Nox wasn't. And she looked a little familiar, from the pictures, if he squinted.
"Is he working?" He asked, and then stumbled his way inside, closing his eyes for a moment after the first few steps to steady the spinning of the room before he crossed over and took a seat in the living room chair. "He let me sleep here, last time. He won't care," he remarked as he peeled off his boots and his socks, setting them to the side before he leaned back in the chair and groaned, dragging his hands up over his face.
"Serena's leavin'." Granted, he didn't know Hesper. He had never met her before. He didn't even know if she knew who Serena was. But he was drunk and what did he care? He just needed someone to talk to about it. "She got a job. She's leavin'. I told her I can't go right now, cause of the car, and she told me that didn't matter, that it didn't change nothin' for me, and offered to let me take over her lease." He sighed, dropping his hands from his face and looking at Hesper. "Do you know Serena? I mean, I came up here cause of her and now she's just gonna take off? And she says it's not because of that fuckin' blood sucker boyfriend of hers but I think she's lyin'."
