Nights were always so boring at home. Most of the time Nox was at work, which meant she could not bother him or Hale. Chris worked nights too. All these people with annoying, steady jobs. She easily made more than they did in a year for only a week's worth of work. Still, Nox had picked up a new video game and Hesper was determined to beat it before he had a chance to. After all, what were siblings for if not for ruining your joy? It would annoy him, and she would get the satisfaction of beating it. Plus she had a job to get ready for later in the week.
She had not been expecting someone to start pounding on the door. The sudden noise almost made her jump, almost. Still, someone was shouting for Nox, and it was not like Nox could get up and answer the door. Rolling her eyes she put the game on pause and headed over to the door unhappily. Really, she had been having a perfectly good time with her controller. Opening the door she raised her eyebrow at just what was on the other side.
Well, either Nox was having some very interesting late night callers, or this was probably that Alex kid he had been talking about recently. He was cute, if stumbling over himself. "Nox isn't home, sweetheart." she said, smirking at him. "I don't think you'll be conscious when he does get in." Moving out of the way so he could walk it, she motioned him into the apartment. "Can wait for him. Just don't throw up, I don't clean up puke."
