Oh if Serena had only known why he was being so nice she surely would have told him to shove it. Kaden was none of his business and he needed to just accept the fact that she was in love with him and wanted him to be apart of her life. Sure she valued her brother's opinion, but there was no changing her mind on this one.
Serena definitely looked a tad suspicious as she listened to him talk about ziti. Nox, huh? She would have to be sure to thank him for somehow convincing her brother to cook. "Yeah, I'm starving," she said as she casually took a look around her kitchen. Well, nothing looked like it had been set on fire or was broken so that was a good thing.
"So what's the occasion?" she finally asked after a minute or two. "Because you never cook."
