NOTE: This is mostly HBP compliant. Let's just assume that Harry never liked Ginny and he never went on that Horcrux hunt with Dumbledore... and that Dumbledore never destroyed the ring. And stuff.

So I’ve been working on the next chapter of CDT and things just aren’t flowing. And I finally figured out why. Because this section should have been part of chapter 20 and not chapter 21. So I’m posting it now – don’t get too excited, it’s only about 1000 words long. Hopefully the real chapter 21 will be up this weekend.

 

Rating: R definitely, maybe NC-17

Summary: The year following DH. Harry and Draco both try to figure out life post-war. They end up thrown together by circumstance and an unlikely friendship forms. Then love and all that good stuff. It’s a story about healing, learning to love and be loved, and finding our way back from sadness and hurt. This story is AU

Warnings: Slash, some het. Spoilers for DH, some elements not compliant with canon, totally ignores the Epilogue of Crap. Lots of swearing, as my Draco has a filthy mouth. Some violence.
