Notes: This was written for hpchallengefest. I had many wonderful prompts, but this one wanted to be written first. It was a huge challenge for me, as suicide is something I'm very uncomfortable with. Thank you to all who helped me along during the process. Summary:
Sometimes it seems like Harry has been waiting all his life for Scorpius. He might be twenty-six years younger, but he is exactly what Harry has always wanted, and what he needs in his life. But Scorpius is broken, and by the time Harry realizes exactly how broken he is, he also has to come to terms with the fact that there is nothing he could have done to fix him.
