Dont you hate that 4000 character reply bot?
I appreciate the comments... I really do.
I take it you support the war, then? *smiles faintly* Good for you. I'm glad that at least you're advised, however you managed it, about certain aspects of the situation.
I always thought it was ironic, however, the way that we entered into the war. Yes, much much-ness of goodness has overflowed since we've been there. A year, almost to the date, before all of the President's henchmen were calling to arms for Iraq said that, "Iraq was not a military threat."
But in a year they are this huge military threat? Yes, it was good we removed Saddam. However, did we have the right to? Bush is a fucking idiot sometimes... any president is. He's also a somewhat-wise leader. Hell, I work for him. So, either way, I've got to support him. Doesnt mean I agree. What if someone, stronger than us, disagreed with Bush, and saw how a lot of resentment for the war was going on, and invaded US becuase of it?! That's preposterous! Wouldn't happen!
But what if it did? We'd be under the same scalpel that Iraq was.
They were not even involved in 9/11.
Imagine that. Why was 24 members of the Bin Laden family flown out of the country within 24 hours of the attacks, when all flights had been canceled. He had reports two months earler stating that there was a possible threat from terrorism dealing with aircraft assaults. He's really done a bang-up-job of just declaring stages of terror on a day-to-day basis. He almost doesnt need a story to go along with it, or evidence.
The war is good for stabilization of the Middle East.
First we went over there because of 9/11.
Then we went over to take out Saddam.
Then we went over there to stop the oil wells from buring.
Then we helped the people.
WTF? That's some messed up priorities. They havent found a single weapon of mass destruction, or evidence of any of it. Americans would be doing the same room-to-room fighting if someone invaded us with superior firepower. I dont think we should be over there.
