Who: Neville Longbottom, greeter What: Arriving at the Hotel When: Saturday evening Where: Diagon Alley, then the hotel lobby
His fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry had been a very intense one. Neville had learned a lot about himself, and had become much more confident as a result. And as much as he enjoyed spending time with his grandmother and great-uncle Algie, he missed his friends and Dumbledore's Army while away.
The summer was a long one, and Neville was anxious to get back. Thankfully, as his birthday passed, it was time to make a trip to Diagon Alley. He bought the new required books, some food for Trevor, and finally a new wand - that last purchase making him tremendously happy. As he stood outside the Leaky Cauldron in the dismal Alley, he spotted Harry Potter's nemesis, Draco Malfoy, skulking about. He frowned and followed after the white-haired boy, only to become lost down an alley he didn't recognize. Frustrated and alone, he kicked the brick of the wall and fell through...
... landing on plush carpet in the lobby of a hotel. He quickly stood, wand still braced in his tightened fingers, his eyes darting around quickly. What the hell?
