"Look, I know that this all sounds incredible but it doesn't make it any less true. All right. You're a healer, you do good, now either you have saved too many lives or you're about to save a life that they don't want you to save."
"They?" Dr. Griffiths repeated, confused.
"Yeah, demons. Uh, more specifically, Shax. He is the Source's assassin."
"Hold it, I get it. This is a practical joke, right? Do you have a hidden camera here? My second wife put you up to this? Ah, it's just like her." The doctor gave an amused, albeit nervous chuckle, looking around for the 'hidden' camera he'd expected to pop out at him at any moment.
"Okay, Dr. Griffiths, listen to me, this is anything but..." Prue paused suddenly, appearing a little more than unnerved.
"What?" Piper asked, concerned.
"I don't know. I just felt a chill.... Phoebe?" Prue called out to her youngest sister, who she thought had gone upstairs to check the Book of Shadows. There was no answer. "Phoebe," the eldest Charmed One repeated, "are you there?" A split second later, the Manor's stained glass doors burst open with a gust of violent of wind and in the wind materialized Shax. "Phoebe, where are you?" Prue cried out, the panic rising within her voice.
Before either Piper or Prue had a chance to react, Shax threw a gust of strong wind at them, which sent both witches to the floor. Hard.
"Dear God!" Griffiths exclaimed, eyes widening in terror.
"No!" Prue had made it back onto her feet again and pushed the doctor out of the way, which caused the horrible blue, wild-haired demon to retaliate by sending another gust of wind at her that was powerful enough to lift her off the ground and tossed back. The raven-haired woman eyes closed tightly as she was hurled back through the air, expecting to feel her head crack against the wall.... But it didn't come. She just kept going and going, and going and with a thud, she'd hit a.... floor? A carpeted floor.
She'd landed on her back, but it really hadn't hurt. It was almost as if she'd been slowed down or something, which didn't make much sense to the eldest Halliwell sister. When her eyes reopened, she was greeted with an unfamiliar sight. A hotel lobby? That's what it appeared to be. Prue took her time getting back onto her feet, however.
As far as she knew, Shax didn't have the power to transport his victims and even if he did, why would he spare her life? This all just didn't add up.
