Katrina wasn't certain what the word affixed to her name meant, but she simply smiled and nodded. It was clear he was still losing strength and she thought it best to move as quickly as possible. She could support him to walk some place safer, but she doubted she would be able to carry him.
"Drink this," Katrina instructed, presenting the cup she had brought. She'd kept one hand over the top as she walked, but moved it aside finally. "This will help."
With her freed hand, she placed it gently under his elbow even as she began to scan the street, trying to figure out where it would be safest to take refuge. A store seemed most likely, even if that meant being on unfamiliar territory.
