Who: Kieran Bundy and Justin Finch-Fletchley!
When: Friday afternoon
Where: Library
Summary: Who the hell studies on a Friday afternoon? Kieran does apparently.
Rating: TBA
Kieran had spent the past thirty or so minutes thoroughly plotting out the death of one Hesper Gamp. Of course, this lady had long since been dead, but Kieran had big plans to wake her up from her eternal sleep just to off her again. Why in the hell had she invented all of those ridiculous laws of elemental transfiguration anyway? Surely, it was to annoy the living snot out of Hogwarts students past, present and future, in Kieran's opinion. Yes, this must have been it, because those laws were either entirely common sense or ridiculously explicit in their explanations. And while Kieran had a prodigious memory indeed, he had to admit that memorizing all this rubbish was making his head hurt.
He shut his transfiguration textbook with such a loud boom that it caused several other students nearby to look up from their work and in his general direction. Kieran was actually quite shocked at how many students were around in the library at this time of the day and on a Friday. It was clearly revisions season and all that, but he wasn't expecting such a grand turnout. Even his favorite table by the nice stained glass window of a chariot carrying what looked to be a ball of fire across the skyline had been taken, and he had been forced to take to the darker, bleaker corners of the library for his studies.
Without much motivation to continue studying, Kieran opened his journal and searched for something interesting to read. He considered writing to Justin but wasn't sure if his beau still needed his space. Even though Kieran hadn't personally been affected by the war as much as many of the other students had, he still understood the need for a time to recover from the first anniversary of the deaths of so many of their fellow students and peers. He was still unsure as to whether or not to contact his boyfriend and had simply taken to doodling a few of his favorite lines (such as What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.) when a sudden shadow was cast over him, sending him into an even deeper darkness.
Blinking, Kieran glanced up as the mass that was blocking out his precious light and smirked. "Funny, I was just thinking of you."
