"Hello, Hermione. They were very excited when I told them I was meeting you here," remarked Luna in her airy voice, hopping up onto one of the counters as she spoke. She let her legs kick freely. She smiled distractedly at her friend.
"The plan? Oh, to see the unicorns. Well, they do enjoy it when it's night outside, but I suppose since some are my friends they may let us visit them before it's really dark outside," Luna explained lightly. "I was going to ask a thestral to come with us, for protection." She sounded very serious about this, as if their entire visit depended on the invisible horses coming with them. "Besides, I've made some necklaces for the unicorns if we do find them. I can't imagine that they wouldn't want these." Luna held some of her home made necklaces in her hands, complete with butterbeer corks and everything, and radishes strung along the string.
So not much of a real plan. Luna knew generally where to find the unicorns as she'd gone to speak with them often. To her, unicorns were a representation of life, of beauty and innocence. Whenever she felt sad, she would just go to visit them and let them speak to her as they would, and they usually cheered her up. "Though, I suppose we should bring them some food. Father told me once that unicorns like to eat apples."
