Who: Justin & Open When: Wednesday evening Where: Quidditch Pitch Summary: Justin too many feelings about things and is flying them out of his system Rating: PG-13 to start due to possible angst and foul language
Justin was having one of those days where he felt on edge, to the point where he wasn't sure he could keep from snapping at people. It wasn't one thing that caused the dark mood to settle over him, it was one thing after another after another. The news from the latest trial made his stomach turn with the thought of a murderer possibly going free. He knew something was going on with Susan but because she was sick he didn't want to pester his best friend. For the same reason he didn't tell her about the letter he had received earlier. A close friend he made during his brief time at the Salem Institute of Magic last year had written, not about herself but about her older brother Peter. Peter was big part of Justin coming to realize and accept that he was gay. When Justin met the American young man everything suddenly clicked, it was less an identity crisis and more of an awakening. Life made more sense post-Peter. They weren't in love and the few times they got together could hardly be called dating but Justin had thought of him as a friend and was hurt that he found out Peter was settling down from someone else.
After grabbing his broom, bat and a boxed Bludger from the Quidditch equipment room Justin made his way to the Pitch with the hope of blowing off steam. He wanted to fly & hit the Bludger around the pitch until he didn't feel like screaming. Being the only one on the Pitch the Bludger returned to him every time, no matter how much strength he put behind his swings or how far he sent it flying. It wasn't until it sailed past him did he notice someone had joined him.
He shouted loudly to make sure they saw it coming if he couldn't get to it in time. "Watch out, Bludger on the loose!"
