Anthony chuckled at Sam, "You become a thief when you're bored? Good to know, I'll make sure my diamonds are well hidden." Had he been himself he would have made the joke referencing his family jewels. As it was, this problem was weighing heavily on him and he wasn't on his A game.
"I was a regular social butterfly back in the day, things have changed." Anthony nodded absentmindedly, he had withdrawn from people as of late, he didn't want to add to everyone's melancholy with his problem. He smiled at her as he took the folded paper back. "This is what has me stilling alone," He held the page between his finger and thumb before crumpling it into a ball and slipping it into his pocket. "It's just something I was trying to figure out but I can't make a decision on it. I'll give it a rest and come back to it another time."
He gave her a playful nudge with his elbow and changed the subject in the least subtle way. "How have your revisions been going?"
