"I'm bored," she admitted with a flail of her hands, slumping a bit when she sat down. Anthony was probably the least threatening person Sam knew, and that's why she had a little more desire to talk to him than she did just about anyone else these days. At least she had the desire to still talk to someone that wasn't in her core group of friends. After all of her years away from home, things always felt a little more familiar at school.
Maybe that was why she was grinning away at him, and at the same time, why she put that paper into her back pocket. She had no interest in reading it, because she figured that if he wanted that sort of privacy, he could have it - she just wanted to be around someone. "All I wanted was to talk. I saw you sitting alone and didn't think that was very usual for you, so I figured that I should swing down and say hello, check in on you." She shifted her weight to her other side and then shrugged, reaching into her pocket and offering up his paper.
"A peace offering. You can have it back if you tell me why you're alone."
