Who: Lesley (looking like Luna) and OPEN When: Saturday evening Where: The hallways Summary: Lesley gets a firsthand experience of what it feels like to be Luna. Rating: TBD
Lesley felt like one of the lucky ones throughout all of this. Despite waking up as a pale, blonde girl, she was still a girl, and that distinction seemed to mean a great deal when it came to these body swaps. It was probably also lucky that Luna was about her same height and had a similar body design as she did. Of course, there were things that were different. Luna wasn't quite a curvy as Lesley was, though this didn't bother Lesley much.
She was traveling through the corridors while on her way back to the Hufflepuff Common Room when she caught sight of something just at the corner of her vision. It zipped past her quickly, and she stopped to look around, curious as to what it could have been. Peeves was known to roam this corridors. But then, it could have been just about any Hogwarts ghost that had floated just outside of Lesley's peripheral vision. Of course, much to her dismay, this was not the case.
A group of about four fifth years came running up to her, dangled a pair of trainers in her face. They were chanting something too, something she couldn't quite understand in between all the giggles, but after a moment, she was horrified to hear the lyrics:
Loony Luna, she's insane Loony Luna, go away Loony Luna, smells of poo Loony Luna, we hate you!
And with that, they tossed her trainers up in the air, until the strings caught a hold on the top corner of one of the portraits. In a fit of mad giggles, they pushed past her, nearly knocking her to the ground and ran off down the corridor. Lesley was so stunned by this behaviour that she didn't even think to take points from their respective houses. Such terrible things they had said about Luna, and even though Lesley was only inhabiting the other girl's body, she couldn't help but feel the prickling of tears forming behind her eyes as she glanced up at the trainers hanging from the portrait on the wall.
