Who: Hermione and Ernie
What: It's her turn to do evening rounds
When: Tuesday about an hour before curfew
Where: Random corridor
Hermione didn't necessarily like having duty during the beginning of the week because there were always so many assignments given on Monday that were usually due by the end of the week. However, part of being Head Girl was setting the example by taking shifts that were not a part of her ideal schedule. This is why an hour before curfew Hermione found herself walking through the corridors rather than sitting in the library grabbing up the books that would be the best fit for the arithmancy assignment she'd recently received.
Thankfully, all had been quite thus far allowing her to run over the assignments she had to do in her mind and begin the process of organizing the ideas in her head so they would make it more quickly onto paper when she finally had the chance to sit down and write. She was mid-list of current constellations in the sky when he heard something coming from around the corner. It didn't sound menacing, but the area of the castle she was currently in ought to have been practically empty by this time of night.
