Tracey was beginning to grow worrisome as it felt like she had been waiting forever for Stephen to arrive. She was still standing in the same spot since she arrived, only occasionally moving a few steps away, shuffling her feet, and shifting her weight from one leg to another to pass the time. The air was getting chillier as the minutes went by and at that point, she wondered if she could still take on the hedge maze without freezing to the death; hot chocolate sounded so nice right now.
She sighed heavily, and was beginning to think Stephen had forgotten about today, or he had somehow gotten lost, but she had more faith and trust in him than that. Confident, she decided to stand and wait some more, still trying to keep herself warm, when she felt another warm hand go around hers, and swiftly pulled her away from her spot.
Tracey yelped in surprised, and was ready to hit her attacker with her free hand, when she realized who it was. Her face immediately lit up, and a wide grin formed on her lips as she looked up at Stephen. "You're finally here!" She exclaimed rather excitedly and wrapped her arms around him, pulling him in to a hug as well; his rather warm body felt nice against hers. "You're doing a good job in sneaking up behind me. I might actually just end up accidentally hitting you one of these days," she giggled in jest.
