Who: Rei Bradley and Luna Lovegood When: Friday; after classes Where: The Library What: Rei's career epiphany has pushed her into research mode. Rating: TBD; probably low.
The fact that Rei had (finally!) figured out what she wanted to do was great. She hadn't felt confident about life after Hogwarts until just this week and found that it was a wonderful feeling. It brought it's own issues though. For instance, Rei had no idea how someone became a magical lawyer. If she'd been a muggle she would have gone to Uni; but did wizards have Uni? Currently she was feeling the strong disadvantage of being muggleborn. This was not an issue she could bring to her parents, asking their advice or asking if they had friends who'd gone through the process. They wouldn't have any answers for her. Both of them were happy though, she'd sent them an owl last night and they'd responded immediately. She supposed they were probably relieved that it was profession that they could understand, one they could easily brag about to their friends without mentioning magic.
These were the issues that brought Rei to the library after her last class of the day ended. She found herself wandering the library, looking for any useful books. There were books about a lawyers role in the wizarding community, about the laws themselves but she'd yet to find a book that told her how to become one.
