A wave of relief washed over Kieran when he heard Justin agree to drink water. Perhaps the bad part was already over, or perhaps it hadn't even begun yet. Still, Justin's willingness to get better was shining through a little, and that was enough hope for Kieran to hold onto for now.
He smiled weakly as he watched Justin undress. Normally, this would be the highlight of their evening, but Kieran's worried thoughts were far too loud for him to even think anything sexual at the moment. Besides, he didn't just love Justin in a sexual way. He loved cuddling and spending time with him just about as much as he loved all the intimate things they did. For a moment, he considered helping him when he started to have trouble with his shirt, though he feared they would both get tangled up in the mess, and it would be doubly awkward.
Eventually, he managed it, and Kieran slipped underneath the covers after Justin. He brought the towel up with him and saved the cup from being knocked over just in time. For the moment, he would settle in beside Justin, make him as comfortable as possible at least until he fell asleep. Then, Kieran could sit and ruminate all he wanted until he was sure Justin was back to his normal self again, or mostly anyway. He snuggled up to him and just smiled. It was amazing that even in the state he was in, Kieran couldn't deny his love for him.
"And I love you, Justin Finch-Fletchley. With all me heart and soul. Forever."
