Terry quirked an eyebrow at her, anticipating what she had to say about his explanation. He was almost quite sure Susan didn't expect him to be that kind of guy, and he wasn't going to take offence at that; he knew very well why she probably thought that way. When she changed the direction of her thoughts, all Terry could do was smile. He knew Susan was being sincere, and he was glad that she wasn't one of those girls who didn't believe in those grand gestures anymore. Chivalry wasn't dead, he thought.
"I'm sure Kevin would do those for you," he said with a bit of a smile. Terry wasn't honestly sure since he never really pegged Kevin as the romantic type, or any type at all for that matter. He was just.. Kevin, who does his own thing, and would probably do far more interesting and spontaneous things than the typical kind Terry stated he would do to/for a girl.
"Yeah, it's so cheesy, but there's just something about it that's so romantic and passionate, you know?" Terry said, not catching the forlon look on Susan's face as he himself was looking out into the distance, trying to imagine how it would be like getting to do all those things with someone he truly liked and loved. A bigger, amused, and somehow shy smile appeared on his face after Susan pecked on his cheeks. He was going to say something about Kevin, but decided against it, just letting the feeling of her soft lips pressed on his cheek linger on, enjoying every second of it.
"You're welcome, Suze. I'll always be here for you for whatever you need. I will be that bloke who will help you hide a dead body." He joked with a laugh, wrapping an arm around her shoulder, and then further gently pulling her closer to him, giving her shoulder a squeeze and an affectionate rub. "You'll always have me."
