Terry nodded with a smile, glad to hear that his two best mates are getting along well with their love life. Terry hadn't exactly lost anyone close him before, like a kin, but he could imagine and understood how it felt like. He didn't know how to talk about it, but he could offer up a comforting hand, and that's what he did. He stopped their dancing midway, and pulled her into a hug, gently patting her back. "You two will be okay." He assured her, not knowing what else to say.
They resumed their previous position, just swaying about while Terry waited for the question Susan had. He thought it would be something about Kevin, or about his dancing, or whatever. There were endless possibilities on what she would be asking, but he never expected Susan to ask about sex. When the question came out, his eyes widened out of amusement, lips parted a little. "Did I hear you right? Are you asking me if I'm having sex?"
He wasn't sure if he wanted to laugh or not, but she really looked like she was serious. "No, I'm not." He was going to explain himself further, adding that he didn't even have a girlfriend to begin with, but then again, she'd probably point out that people still had sex with one another even without a commitment. If she was aware of that fact.
"Why do you ask?" Other than the fact that he was afraid to ask if she and Kevin were already doing the deed, he knew he shouldn't. It wasn't his business, and it was their private lives.
