"I don't know why." Susan said making a face at him. It wasn't like Susan was all that important. At least, she didn't think so. She hadn't done anything wonderful like save the world, or help the sick, she was just Susan. She didn't even consider herself to be a blip in most people's lives. Some, but not most people. She was learning to live as healthy, independent person. That was a good thing. She didn't need to feel validated by other people. At least, that's what she kept telling herself.
"No...no recent trouble." Susan nodded her head and then her cheeks flushed. Her and Kevin's relationship was somewhat strange. She knew that Kevin liked her, and she liked him too, but it wasn't what she thought it might be. Not that it was negative, but he wasn't really big on communicating, other than when she initiated it, or they were physically together. She supposed it was something she needed to get used to. "Our love story?" Susan laughed, thinking back on her talk with Hannah. Susan wondered if it just seemed like everybody around her was having intimate relations with their partners.
Her mind had wandered when he complimented her and she grinned at him. "Yes you should, it would be lovely." She said with a wink. Sighing she moved them about again and then slowed down. "Can I ask you something?" She asked him, wondering if Kevin would get mad at her for talking about this. He hadn't wanted Susan to ask Terry about sex before. ..
