"Hey, I've got moves you'd never dream of Boot. Just you wait, one day you'll just accept how multi-talented I am and you won't be surprised anymore." She teased at him but stopped at the end of the bleachers and coming back towards him on light feet. She was so excited. She could feel the air around her vibrating. Or was it her that was vibrating? It was possible. She didn't even care much if her team won the cup, she was just happy to be playing. But she knew if she could help along a team member with a goal she was satisfied.
When she neared him she stopped and grinned up at him. She couldn't help though when he mentioned that Wayne was a prick. She laughed out loud, pleased to hear this. "I'm sorry you lost to him. He is a bit of a...prick..." She tried out the word, rolling it around in her mouth a little afterward. She wasn't sure if she liked it. It wasn't something she could ever recall saying before. Susan just didn't swear, so it sounded so odd when she did.
"I was enjoying the solitude, but then you came along, handsome strangers." She said, her voice dropping low, jesting with him, but then put her hand on his shoulder, and taking his opposite hand. "May I have this dance, Mister Boot?" She asked him in a breathy whisper, fluttering her eyelashes at him pretending to be some sort of girl she very well was not, and unable to pretend forever, breaking back in to a grin.
