Who: Terry Boot & Mandy Brocklehurst When: February 16th, 3pm Where: Madam Puddifoot's Summary: The winning date with Terry Boot Rating: Low, maybe?
Terry still couldn't believe how the auction had gone down a couple of days ago. He was signed up without his consent, but he honestly didn't mind. He thought it would be fun to join, just to see how many bids he would get and who would bid on him. The results were impressive, amusing and surprising at the same time. While he would have been happy to be won by any of the girls who put their money on him, Mandy was the one who surprised him the most.
During the entire auction, he thought she was the most vicious out of them all, never hesitating to top the last offer, at least from what he could see. It surprised him since he actually wasn't sure where they stood, if she was still even the least bit interested in him. For Terry, he had to admit that whatever he was feeling for her was slightly fleeting. It came and went, but whenever he would see her, he would be reminded of all the sweet gestures he had done, and why he did them. He liked Mandy, but that pull was often cut short by his own demons, his attachment issues. He was honestly trying to get past it, but having lived 18 years like that and to change it was a struggle.
His mind was often flooded with those thoughts, but today, he didn't want to think or worry about hose. Today was his and Mandy's day. They had gone on a picnic before, but Terry didn't consider it as much of a date; maybe this time, things were going to be different. Even though it was a date born out of an auction, he was going to go about things the proper way.
With his gifts for Mandy in hand, he kept his eyes on the ocean of people streaming out to go to Hogsmeade, hoping he could see the familiar brunette any minute now.
